Question: Dear scholars, I’d like to ask you about the Bible. What do the Islamic scholars think about the parables by Jesus. And I have one more question; do the Islamic scholars believe in the miracles of Jesus written in the Bible? Could you tell me about those points? Thank you in advance.
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.

As-Salaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu. I was asked to talk to non-Muslims about the Holy Qur`an by introducing it to them, without engaging myself in debates or arguments (i.e. preaching), as a form of Da`wah given by educated Muslims in a non-Islamic environment. Please supply me with some advice that can help me to do so in the best way, Insha`Allah, with specific points on talking about the Holy Qur`an. Time is limited to 40 minutes followed by Q&A and it is an open invitation, i.e., not limited to a specific group.
I am supposed to practice the talk within our Muslim group first and for a few times before presenting it to non-Muslims. Also, the Imam (who is well qualified in religion) of our mosque will be present to correct any mistakes and to answer specialized questions during the presentation. Your help is very much appreciated. Jazakum Allah khairan. As-Salaamu `Alaykum.

Even Hadrat Zakariyya (Alayhis salaam) used to supplicate for children most passionately and fervently during the latter part of his life.

Marriage is understanding. It’s being blind to the faults of the other. It’s being considerate in every way–considerate of the other’s time, feelings, anddesires. Continue reading What is marriage?
